Breakout White Lotus star Adam DiMarco played a ditzy, shitfaced twink in the 2014 teen sex comedy Bait and Switch.

Bait and Switch follows two friends who break up with their high school girlfriends and embark on a quest for sex. They construct a pact to deprive their virginity before their prom. However, one then comes out to the other as gay. Nicholas Braun, the clueless (but perhaps very canny) Ben from Succession plays Michael, the straight guy.
Wanting to support his gay companion Matty, Michael goes with him to gay bars. In one of those bars, they encounter the Adam DiMarco character. Adam plays a shitfaced twink, ditzy as f_ck, and high on ecstasy.
Michael acts as a wingman for his gay mate. Spying a slutty twink, Michael ushers Matty across the room to meet him.
“This is Matty. I’m Michael. He’s gay. I’m not.”
“I’m Jarod and I’m very gay,” replies the Adam DiMarco character.
However, Jarod proves a little OTT for Michael and Matty and they attempt to flee.

For those unfamiliar with HBO’s smash hit series The White Lotus, season 2 finished airing in December 2022 and has managed to maintain the first season’s off-kilter humour and wild twists. Adam DiMarco is one star of season two who has gained new fans obeying his stint on the show and it appears the gay community has really taken a liking to him.

Adam DiMarco has been in a limited series to date including the short-lived (but much-loved) The Order on Netflix and The Magicians on Syfy. It’s only after his recent role in The White Lotus though that he has smash mainstream audiences.
Following the success of the latest season, Adam DiMarco has been dubbed the fresh White Boy Of The Month and his newfound fans are getting familiar with his body of work. One previous role that has grabbed attention is DiMarco’s performance in 2014’s Date And Switch. In said movie, DiMarco plays a very small role that involves him being a very male lover twink high on ecstasy in a gay club.

Adam DiMarco was ready for a role “very different from anything I’ve done” before.
The 35-year-old Canadian actor, recognizable for his breakout role as “nice guy” Albie Di Grasso in season two of Mike White’s The Colorless Lotus, is now portraying a stereotypical “toxic college frat bro” in the new Benito Skinner-created comedy, Overcompensating. Though DiMarco admits he was a “little unsure” about the role at first, once he read the script and established the tone, he was all in.
“I was hanging out with this hockey player at one signal at an afterparty, and he kept dapping me up mid-conversation. In the course of a minute, he maybe dapped me up four to five times, and I was like, if I ever perform a character favor this, I’m definitely gonna steal that,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter of the inspiration for his character Peter. “So I tried to dap Benny up in as many scenes as possible.”
